FW: Hope Summer Swim Club - Swim Meet Volunteer Hours

The Hope Swim Club is in need of student volunteers for our upcoming Hope Swim Club – Swim meet. The students will be working on deck primarily as timers; however, there may be other needs as well which all will meet the criteria for volunteer hours.

 

The exact and final details are still in the works; however, below are the dates and guesstimated times for the swim meet.

 

DATE     Saturday June 10^th & 11th, 2017

 

·         Swim Meet - Start times (both days)  8 AM

o   Warm Up – 7:00 AM -7:45 AM

o   Start – 8:00 am

o   Finish – 5:00pm

·         All officials to be at the pool at about 7:30 AM   

o   Please check in at clerk of clerk of course desk (diving block end of pool)

o   Officials meeting at about 7:20 AM

 

On another note, if you are looking to join the swim club, please contact Larry as well. The Hope Club is a small club and would definitely like to have more swimmers. The summer swim club will be swimming 2 to 3 times per week at the Hope pool, with swim meets taking place throughout the Fraser valley during the summer season.
