Attention all Fraser Cascade SD78 students, and artists!

School District 78 (Fraser Cascade SD78) is looking for a new visual identity for their Careers and Transitions district program and needs your help. We are seeking current Fraser Cascade SD78 students who can design a creative, innovative and professional logo design. The logo should be recognizable and help promote our district’s  careers and transitions program.  Please see Mr. K, or the logo contest on our website for more details regarding logo design, contest rules & submission requirements. Deadline is April 15th, 2016.

How to Enter the Contest

The contest begins on March 18, 2016. Submissions will be accepted through April 15, 2016. Winners will be announced in via our website and social media. In order for your entry to be submitted and reviewed by our committee, all entries must be:

  1. Submitted to the school based coordinator or principal no later than April 15, 2016, midnight PST.
  2. Submitted in their original source file (jpeg), and
  3. Submitted as a high resolution .pdf with 600 dpi or higher.

Logo Requirements

  • Professional: This logo may be featured on our website, our social media platforms and other mediums (stationary, pamphlets, t-shirts etc). As a result, while we want the logo to be eye-catching, it must still be legible.
  • Theme: Logo must promote the district’s Career and Transitions program. To offer and promote hands-on trades exploration, and up-to-date technical courses leading to a foundation in a trade’s career. Design should be universal in theme, and not trade specific.
  • Colour: There are no limitations and any colours may be used. However, logo must look good in colour or black and white.
  • Integrity: Logos cannot contain copyrighted material. Logos must be an original design. Logos must have been created and edited by the contestant(s). Logos may not include images or licensed images that have been previously published. Must be easily reproducible and scalable for large and small formatting.
